Welcome!
PLPC is not a ” shake hands on Sunday” church. We are striving to be an authentic community that follows Christ. We believe that in such a community everyone has gifts from God to share and everyone can continue to be transformed- no matter their age or ability. All are encouraged to “worship + 2,” meaning we believe we are all closer to God and each other if we attend worship, use our gifts for service in one place, and attend a small group or class to grow. Let Pastor or one of our Elders help you find your starting place.
Become a Member
We hope everyone experiences a friendly, authentic, and engaging welcome here, whether you visit our worship service on Sunday morning or participate in any other activity at PLPC. If you are discovering that our church is becoming your new spiritual home and if you are finding nourishment, receiving inspiration, and developing meaningful relationships here, we would love to invite you to consider becoming a member. Membership is a sign of a deeper commitment to our church and its mission,
as we actively serve Jesus Christ in this corner of the world.
All members are invited to contribute their gifts, time, and talents, as they are able,
to the mission and the ministry of the church.
Please let our Pastor, or one of the elders of the church, know if you are interested in becoming a member. Our Pastor teaches an Explorers Class two or three times a year, during which we discuss the faith, values, and practices of the Presbyterian Church (USA) along with the history and the mission of
the Priest Lake Presbyterian Church.
New members are received either by baptism (if you’ve not yet been baptized), letter of transfer (from another church), or reaffirmation of faith (if you are not currently a member of another church). We would love to receive you as a new member of PLPC!
