Message: Doug Powell, Tom Tozer
Liturgist: Elizabeth Sadler

†CALL TO WORSHIP:
One: Christ died for our sins and was raised on the third day.
All: We gather to proclaim this good news with joy.
One: He appeared to many, confirming the truth of the resurrection.
All: We stand in the long line of witnesses who trust this hope.
One: If Christ is not raised, our faith would be in vain.
All: But Christ is risen indeed, and we worship the Living Lord.
†OPENING HYMN: #118 “The Day of Resurrection!”
CALL TO CONFESSION
PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Risen Lord, you have given us the good news of your victory over sin and death, yet we confess that we often live as though this hope is far from us. You call us to trust the witness of your resurrection, but we admit how easily doubt and distraction take hold of our hearts. Forgive us when fear overshadows faith, and when our words and actions fail to reflect the grace, we have received. Renew our minds, strengthen our spirits, and raise us to walk in the truth of your redeeming love. Lord, hear our silent prayers of confession.
SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION: We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
†PASSING OF THE PEACE
†CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE: # 579 “Gloria Patri”
TIME FOR ALL GOD’S CHILDREN
PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION: God of all wisdom, you reveal yourself through Scripture and through the risen Christ. Send your Spirit to illumine our reading and hearing, that your truth may take root within us. Grant us understanding, faith, and obedience as your Word is proclaimed.
SCRIPTURE READINGS: Ezekiel 37: 1-14, 1 Corinthians 15: 12-19, 15: 3-7
One: This is the word of God for the people of God.
All: Thanks be to God.
MESSAGE: "Historical Evidence for the Resurrection” Doug Powell
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH: We affirm the good news handed down to us: that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day, just as the Scriptures declare. We trust the witnesses who saw him, and we hold fast to the hope his resurrection gives. Because Christ lives, our faith is not in vain, our sins are forgiven, and we stand in the promise of God’s redeeming love.
