†CALL TO WORSHIP:
One: Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes, and I will observe it to the end.
All: Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.
One: Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.
All: Turn my heart to your decrees and not to selfish gain; be gracious to me according to your word.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
O Lord, we confess that our tongues have been sharp and our hearing dull. We have sought our own way without listening to others and have too quickly judged what we didn’t understand. Forgive us and cleanse us of such narrow living. Enable us to accept others, and to accept our limits and our possibilities so that we may create a haven of peace where all people may come to know Your love in Jesus Christ. Amen.
