†CALL TO WORSHIP: (Psalm 85: 9-13)
One: God’s salvation is very close to those who honor him so that his glory can live in our land.
All: Faithful love and truth have met; righteousness and peace have kissed.
One: Truth springs up from the ground; righteousness gazes down from heaven.
All: Yes, the Lord gives what is good, and our land yields its produce. Righteousness walks before God, making a road for his steps.

CALL TO CONFESSION
PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
You, Lord, are our good shepherd, supplying our need. In our brokenness, you provide healing and paths which lead us on toward resolution and reconciliation. To our guilt, your mercy flows, abundantly and unrelentingly. With our sin, your love became incarnate in Jesus Christ, bringing new life, new wholeness, and the promise of eternal life. We still doubt. We still question. We’re still learning, still growing, and still stumbling. Remind us again of your good news in Jesus. Fill us again with the Holy Spirit, our rejuvenating, invisible companion. Lead us in paths of faithfulness and peace, our good shepherd, who supplies our need. Hear us now as we silently pray our confessions to you.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH: (Philippians 2: 4-11)
Let each of you look not to your own interest, but also to the interest of others. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross. Therefore, God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
