†CALL TO WORSHIP:
One: The Lord is our Shepherd; we shall not want.
All: Christ leads us beside still waters and restores our souls.
One: Jesus calls each of us by name and leads us in paths of righteousness.
All: We listen for His voice, for He knows us and we know Him.
One: The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
All: With gratitude and joy, we worship the One who guides, protects and loves us. Let us worship God!
CHORAL SELECTION: “Softly and Tenderly” Nashville Choral Project
CALL TO CONFESSION
PRAYER OF CONFESSION: Good Shepherd, we confess that we have wandered from Your paths. We have listened to many voices, but not always to Yours. We have sought our own way and ignored the needs of others. We have resisted Your guidance and doubted Your goodness. Call us back to Yourself. Find us when we are lost, carry us when we are weary, and lead us again in the way of life. In your mercy, forgive us and make us followers of Your voice. Hear now our silent prayers of confession.
SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION: In Jesus’ name, Amen
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
†PASSING OF THE PEACE
†CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE: # 579 “Gloria Patri”
TIME FOR ALL GOD’S CHILDREN: Amy Aviles

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH: (A Brief Statement of Faith, PCUSA) We trust in Jesus Christ, fully human, fully God. Jesus proclaimed the reign of God: preaching good news to the poor, teaching by word and deed, and calling all to follow Him. He is the Good Shepherd who knows His own and calls us by name. He laid down His life for the sheep and rose again in power and glory. We trust Him to lead us, to guide us, to protect us, and to bring us home. In life and in death, we belong to God. Amen.
